Why Today?!

Okay so I am all excited, I am going to bring more technology into my classroom. I had all these activities planned today for my Smart Board and it didn't want to play nice! Just my luck. Why can't they make technology more user friendly? I feel like teachers especially would use it more if some programs were not so complicated to use! There has to be some way to streamline. If I don't get it and I have to play with a program for an hour to get it to play nice, how is an 8 year old in my classroom going to react?
